Women’s Bible Study:                                                                                       Ladies, save your Tuesday mornings for studying God’s Word here at CMF.  Starting February 16, from 9:00 to 11:00 AM, fellowship with other ladies as we learn about the Beloved Disciple, The Life and Ministry of John. This 11-week study, written by Beth Moore, is enhanced by weekly video teaching and at-home workbook study. Let’s learn together about John’s legacy of love, and like John, we too can “find our way to the heart of Jesus and recline so closely that our pulse begins to throb in tandem,  loving what He loves and hating what He hates.” Please sign up at the table in the lobby or call the church office so we can order enough books! See you there!

New Small Groups: Interested in a small group? Would you like to get to know others better, while growing in your faith? A short-term, 4-week group will meet on Wednesdays, May 5–26, for the study, “Fearfully and Wonderfully Made-Personality and Spiritual Gifts.” A short   social time with refreshments will be held from 6:00-6:30 PM with sharing and discussion from 6:30-7:30 PM. If interested, please contact JoAnne Geiger. We hope that parents will take advantage of Youth Group meeting on the same night and bring your children!

Spiritual Gifts – Take Another Look! God has blessed each of His children with unique and wonderful gifts to draw us closer to Him and to serve His people. Pastor Tim will share more about this in a sermon series beginning in May. We ask that you prayerfully seek out what Gifts God has given you. Even if you have taken surveys or assessments in the past, we highly encourage you to ‘take another look.’ If this is brand new to you, now may be a great time to discover your gifts. A new tool, “Discover your Spiritual Gifts the Network Way” will be available to help guide you on your way.

Our annual Chicken BBQ Fellowship Meal will be held at Central Oak Heights on Sunday, June 13, from 12:00-5:00 PM. A Youth Baptism Service will also take place that evening, at 6:00 PM, at Rod and Deb Yoder’s pond. Mark your calendars now and watch for more information as details are finalized.

“Bringing the Gospel Home” Evangelism Seminar: For most of us, evangelism does not come naturally. We find it difficult to share Jesus with our family and friends. As a messianic Jew who has led several family members to Christ, Randy Newman gives insights from the Scriptures, stories of others who have learned lessons along the way, and specific steps you can take to make progress in engaging with others. Bringing the Gospel Home will help any Christian seeking to guide loved ones into the family of God. Please mark your calendar for July 18, 2021, and stay tuned for more information regarding this evangelism seminar with Randy Newman, hosted at Community Mennonite Fellowship.

While many activities are on hold during this time of social distancing, please stay tuned for more activities once we are able to meet together again. In the meantime, our prayers go with you.
